Kenya Clay Products reconfirms his confidence to Morando

Starting of a third line on the last month of february achieving very good result

The rooftiles and bricks plant Kenya Clay Products (Nairobi, Kenya) has been built by Morando in 1992-1993. Its technology studied to match African market features, includes a preparation line, a production line with MVM/450 extruder and a SYNCHROMATIC 6FL1 roofing tiles press, a chamber dryer and an open-heads Hoffmann kiln granting a wide range of products as bricks, hollow bricks, rooftiles, floor tiles etc. Along the years, following the requirements of the market, the plant has been developed by a second production line like the first one, other additional drying chambers, a second Hoffmann kiln, two new SYNCHROMATIC 6FL1 roofing tiles and a PTM press for special pieces.

Recently Morando supplied  third line that started its production on the last  February achieving very good result. This new line includes a roller-mill LA/9-C1 (rolling gap between rolls: 0,8-1 mm) and a MUN/500-S extruder that, extruding 6 overlapped bats, feeds the four  existing presses while the other two lines are now working fall other materials.

The installation project of a fourth press SYNCHROMATIC 6FL1 is now under progress so as to work alternatively to the other three ones allowing their correct  maintenance.
