Groupe Legris Industries welcomes new division - Keyria


The acquisition of Ceric by Groupe Legris Industries announced on October 6 was officially finalized on December 13, 2006 following the approval of the competition authorities.

This acquisition reflects the strategic vision that has shaped the development of the Group’s industrial operations over the past 20 years, helping achieve leading positions worldwide with a clear focus on international markets. In each case, Group subsidiaries’ industry-specific expertise and unique resources are backed by the management skills and financial clout of Groupe Legris Industries.

By joining the Group’s existing divisions—Legris (industrial connectors, sales €225 million) and Savoye (automated logistics for distribution centers, sales €95 million)—Ceric will be able to draw on Group support to enter a new stage in its development. For Legris Industries, the aim is to help Ceric become a world leader in turnkey solutions and services for factories specialized in products for the construction industry.

Charles-Antoine de Barbuat, previously head of Savoye, is joining Ceric as Chairman and CEO.
